Amazon Clipper Premium Cruises 6 days / 5 nights
Amazon Clipper Premium Cruises
For those who wish the comfort of a luxury ship, we now present the new Amazon Clipper Premium, a vessel unique in style that offers “simply the best” small-ship cruising in the Amazon. Large enough to offer spacious cabins with lower beds and inviting public spaces, but small enough to dock at remote spots and cruise to hidden locations due to the shallow draft of only 3 feet, the Amazon Clipper Premium is the perfect size for a comfortable cruise on the Amazon rivers.
Amazon Clipper Cruises now puts at your disposal its complete support infrastructure to offer an on-board experience that is second to none – and in addition we will take you to places few other cruise passengers ever see. It is possible because the cruise groups are small and personal, and the knowledge of the destination is complete. You will experience trips with the outboard powered canoes in smaller creeks to see life on the flooded plains, rubber trees, lakes with giant water lilies, watch the birds, visit the local inhabitants and walk in the forest, always accompanied by the expedition guides.
Your adventure will follow with fishing for piranhas, night trips to see nocturnal animals, views of the floating docks, market and houses on stilts.
Unique on the Amazon Clipper Premium is a spacious observation and sun deck with a fantastic 360° panoramic view. The window-lined dining room seats all passengers leisurely at one single seating. The onboard restaurant offers excellent meals, up to international standards, prepared with utmost care by the experienced kitchen staff. Served as buffet you can help yourself from a great variety of fresh foods including daily specials or choice vegetarian meals. At 32m (106 feet) long, with a beam of 9m (30 feet), the Amazon Clipper Premium hosts only 32 guests in 16 spacious all-outside cabins, with lower beds, private bathroom facilities with hot shower, individual air-conditioning and safety box.
The Amazon Clipper Premium Cruises have regular departures on Mondays and Wednesdays. For those who are satisfied with a little less comfort, we present the Amazon Clipper Cruises, click here for a description and prices of these cruises.

You will arrive back to the Hotel Tropical pier around 11:30 in the morning, pick-up embarking passengers and then depart around 2:30 PM. Afternoon navigation to the Ariau river, a tributary of the Rio Negro. In the late afternoon you will enjoy your first foray into this fascinating world, exploring by silent canoe. (B,L,D)

Return to the ship for lunch and then begin navigation through the Anavilhanas Archipelago, the worlds largest fresh water archipelago, more than 1000 miles from the ocean. Visit the village of Novoo Airao, where the Clipper was built, with a burgeoning boat yard, sawmill and a bustling market. After dinner you will take a trip by silent canoe to search for caimans by flashlight and to look for nocturnal animals such as the sloth, snakes, frogs and other species, depending on the season. (B,L,D)
