Tour Plan

Transfer from your hotel at 8:30 AM; 80 km by road to the city of Rio Preto da Eva where motorized canoes will be waiting to transport us to Malocas Jungle Lodge. Upon arrival at the lodge, you will be greeted by local management who will guide you to your accommodation. Enjoy lunch at the lodge. Later, explore the Igarapés by canoe to visit the caboclos, who live in conditions similar to their indigenous ancestors. Return to the lodge for piranha fishing and an evening alligator hunt.
In the morning, we will paddle through the Igapós in small canoes. Following breakfast, embark on a jungle trek led by guides who will explain the diverse uses of local plants, including medicinal properties. Along the way, visit one of the numerous waterfalls for a refreshing swim. Enjoy lunch at the lodge before paddling through the Igapós and Igarapés in canoes. Optional river swimming is available. After supper, gather around the campfire to savor the tranquility of the night.
After breakfast, embark on a second jungle trek through a different ecosystem, culminating at a waterfall for swimming before returning to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, participate in survival training by canoe, learning traditional indigenous techniques using natural products like roots and medicinal plants. Trek further into the jungle to construct improvised shelters and cook over a campfire, spending the night in hammocks suspended between trees.
After breakfast, we trek back to the lodge for lunch. Return to the city of Rio Preto da Eva via motorized canoes, followed by an 80-km road journey back to Manaus. Expect to arrive around 7:00 PM.
