Belmond Hotel Cataratas

The Tropical das Cataratas Hotel & Resort is close to what nature has best to offer. Here you will find absolute respect for fauna and flora. You will face the astonishing spectacle of Iguassu Falls. It is the only hotel located at the core of the Iguaçu National Park.

There are two main gateways to the falls – from Foz de Iguaçu in Brazil, and from Puerto Iguaçu in Argentina, these airports are 15km and 60km from the hotel respectively. The falls are also accessible from Ciudad del Este in Paraguay.

All the rooms are equipped with cable tv, air conditioning, minibar, telephone, safe, colonial or modern style. There are some deluxe rooms with a view on the magnificent falls.

There are two restaurants, one serving a blend of Brazilian and international cuisine, and beside the pool, the Ipé Bar and Grill, which is a churrascaría, serving barbecued meat dishes, and with live music.

For leisure the hotel has a large swimming pool in the garden, tennis courts, soccer field, volleybal field and a game room.

There is also a bar that leads out onto a terrace, a reading room with open fireplace, a billiards room, coffee shop, parking lot, handicapped facilities, regional souvenirs shop, jewelry, play ground, ambulatory and laundry service.

The hotel has a fully equiped convention center, with a capacity up to 100 people.
